HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS – ADELAIDE CEMETERY?

This week, many people are returning to work after their Christmas holidays. I am yet to take my annual leave. And so when I saw the Lonely Planet top 10 hottest destinations for 2014 my interested peaked. It is no secret that one of my favourite holiday destinations is a Ski resort – powdery snow during the day, a warm fire place and glass of red by night. So I was pleased to see snow destinations such as Zurich and Vancouver being included, however as an honorary member of and guest presenter for the Cemeteries and Crematorium Association (NSW) imagine my surprise to find Adelaide Cemetery Ghost tours is a hot destination this year! Adelaide City is the only Australian city to make it into the Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities to visit during 2014 with the Ghost Tour a must do. Now that chills me more than a subzero ski slope!
