Data & Death – now for the good news.

2019 Qld recorded 33,1901 deaths, but in 2020 the numbers started to fall. This morning I was reading Alan Kohler’s column on “reasons to feel optimistic about 2021” in which he cites Australia’s low Covid-19 numbers as a positive. Interestingly, the attached ABC article reports on another positive from our low Covid-19 numbers – lower number of deaths overall. Our hygiene precautions have resulted in a reduction in other illness leading to lower numbers of Australians dying in 2020. It’s seems cleanliness is next to earthliness.
