Queensland introduces ‘industrial manslaughter’ offense after Dreamworld audit

The Queensland Government is introducing a new offence of ‘industrial manslaughter’ following a review of the fatal incident at Dreamworld last year.

Four people died after one of the theme park’s rides malfunctioned.

The audit has also recommended stricter safety inspections of amusement park rides.
